it is a historical landmark shaping beirut as we know it. Facing the port of Beirut, the Palace endured significant damage. True to their spirit, they rebuilt it, preserving every scar and mark from the past. These dents and imperfections now stand as symbols of Lebanon’s resilience and strength. In these imperfections, we find true beauty.

I had the pleasure of working with palais mokbel to renew their identity. Over the years, Palais Mokbel became many things. In the 40s, it was rented to the Lebanese state, later on, it became a school until the 90s, and during that period, it even became a movie set for the famous movie Rebus (Appointment in Beirut 1969) by Nino Zanchin. Today, it is used as an event venue to host beirut’s most exclusive events.
